Marléne Zadig (rhymes with "train a bad pig") lives and writes in Maryland (just outside D.C.). She has an MFA in Creative Writing from UMD (College Park) and studied Journalism at Georgetown. Her literary work has appeared in Epoch, Michigan Quarterly Review, StoryQuarterly, Cimarron Review, The Fiddlehead, The Rumpus, and the annual Longform list for Best in Fiction. She’s currently an editor and journalist for Streetcar Suburbs News, where she writes and produces The Streetcar Spotlight newsletter and the periodic column, “What the Hyattsville?” Her interests often collide with modern utopias, innovation in education, climate change, and the intersections of science, art, & culture. You know, spacetime, brains, etc.
